We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our community health team, you will be responsible for supervising designated staff and performing nursing procedures in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the provision of home support services, ensuring high-quality care and effective communication with clients and staff.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the needs of clients, in accordance with competency guidelines and current legislative scope of practice.
- Contribute to the development and modification of client care plans, attending and providing feedback to interdisciplinary teams.
- Perform nursing care and procedures, evaluating client outcomes and reporting problems or changes to designated staff.
- Administer medications at assigned clients, according to established policies and procedures.
- Respond to general inquiries, provide direction and information about available programs and policies, and assist in the recruitment and selection of staff.
- Graduation from an approved school in Practical Nursing.
- Two years' recent, related clinical and/or supervisory experience in a community health setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
