Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our community health team, you will be responsible for supervising designated staff and performing nursing procedures in accordance with competency guidelines and standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the provision of home support services, ensuring high-quality care and services are delivered to clients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the needs of clients, in accordance with competency guidelines and established standards of practice.
- Contribute to the development and modification of client care plans, including attending interdisciplinary team meetings and providing feedback.
- Supervise and orient new staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Perform nursing procedures and evaluate client outcomes, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Respond to general inquiries, provide direction and information about available programs and policies, and assist in the recruitment and selection of staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an approved school in Practical Nursing.
- Two years' recent, related clinical and/or supervisory experience in a community health setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
