About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Log Management and Analytics Solutions Engineer to join our team at Dynatrace. As a key member of our sales engine, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our sales team, showcasing our unique approach to solving customer pain points, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute compelling demos that demonstrate the value of Dynatrace's log management and analytics capabilities.
  • Manage proof of concept (PoC) creation and cloud architecture discussions, providing technical guidance to support sales opportunities.
  • Present Dynatrace's vision to C-suite executives and provide technical expertise in the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages of the opportunity sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including innovation labs, expert services consultants, customer success managers, and marketing, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience.
  • 3+ years of experience within the log management and analytics space with tools such as Splunk, Elastic, or Sumo Logic.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical value to customers and prospects.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with query languages such as SQL, SPL, or KQL.
  • Experience with observability and log collectors/pipelines such as FluentBit, OpenTelemetry, Cribl, and Logstash.
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with programming/scripting side technologies such as Java,.NET, PHP, Go, and database.
  • Advanced knowledge of Operating Systems (OS) including Windows and Linux.
  • Experience with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering practices.
  • Knowledge with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with modern technologies like containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Serverless functions, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with automation like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.
