Brandt Tractor Ltd is a leading heavy equipment solutions provider with a strong presence in Vernon, BC. We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our service department.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment brands, including John Deere and competitive products. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the organization and dispatch of technicians, ensuring quality repair work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of service technicians, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Advise and mentor technicians on best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and technical skills development.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring profitability targets are met.
Requirements:
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade.
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment, preferably with John Deere and competitive products.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Availability to work varied hours, including after-hours shifts, as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with regular physical activity.
