Heritage Site Manager and Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate team member to join us at O'Keefe Ranch. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily guest experience, staff coordination, third party bookings and coordination such as weddings and event management for guest experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall visitor experience, including the creation of engaging tours, programs, and events.
- Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for visitor services, including ticketing, information desks, and guided tours.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff members dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
- Plan and execute a diverse range of events and programs that appeal to a wide audience, from educational workshops to cultural performances.
- Work with guests for facility bookings such as weddings, staff BBQs and other facility rentals.
- Collaborate with other departments and external partners to coordinate activities and initiatives that support the visitor experience.
- Assist in the development of promotional materials and marketing strategies to attract visitors and increase awareness of site offerings.
- Ensure that the historic site maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and accessibility for visitors.
- Participate in budget planning and monitor expenses related to visitor experience initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in visitor experience management, and explore innovative approaches to engage and captivate visitors.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in visitor services, event management, or hospitality management.
- Experience with fundraising.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

This position will vary between 20 and 40 hours per week, year round.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
