Job Title: Process Safety Engineer

ERCO Worldwide is seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer to join our Toronto Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing Process Safety Management (PSM) support to all assigned ERCO Worldwide sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support corporate-led process safety initiatives to ensure program awareness and implementation is achieved in an effective and timely manner.
  • Facilitate risk assessment studies to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Resolve assigned PSM recommendations from various PSM studies.
  • Develop corporate procedures and practices for establishing guidance for safe operation.
  • Participate in auditing of ERCO sites to ensure PSM program compliance.
  • Represent ERCO on external committees and at conferences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Chemical Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineering License (strongly preferred).
  • 6-10 years of experience in new process design/commissioning and support of plant operations & projects.
  • Strong health and safety mindset.
  • Valid driver's license and passport for travel.
