Job Title: Construction and Site Project Manager

The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for coordinating all activities on site and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and coordinate daily work activities for multiple job sites
  2. Assist Project Managers, Coordinators, Field Operations Manager and the Vice President, Operations with daily management activities
  3. Coordinate work activities with subtrades
  4. Coordinate work activities with clients
  5. Oversee, manage, and coordinate Assistant Site Superintendents and Construction Assistants
  6. Attend site meetings
  7. Assist with managing and controlling costs for the project related to sub-contractors, suppliers, and manpower
  8. Track daily, weekly, and monthly manpower
  9. Complete required safety paperwork daily
  10. Be fiscally responsible for the finances for the project
  11. Monitor project schedule and manpower for delays
  12. Ensure compliance of the installation with the specifications for all trades
  13. Work with the Foreman/Sub Trades to complete the job on time, budget and to high quality standards
  14. Be available for, and check up on, crews who are working weekends or after hours by means of phone call, site visits etc.
  15. Submit request for information to Project Managers when required by the foreman or unclear documentation
  16. Ensure deficiencies are corrected as soon as possible for all trades
  17. Develop relationships with our clients for future business
  18. Ensure sites are safe and owner property/valuables are protected from damage
  19. Ensure sites are clean and tidy at the end of each shift
  20. Enforce staff and subtrade compliance with company policies, owner policies, Ontario Health and Safety Act and other legal requirements.
  21. Assist on site by providing labor to complete task/projects as required
  22. Assist and push to ensure projects are closed out and fully completed as fast as possible
