Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role includes:

  • Coordination of all sub-trades, ensuring accuracy of work in accordance with construction plans;
  • Working alongside the Maintenance department to ensure delivery of equipment and material;
  • Oversight of all site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget;
  • Scheduling meetings and completing the appropriate field paperwork; and
  • Communicating on a daily basis with the Project Manager regarding the ongoing status of the project
Requirements
  • Prior experience in commercial construction, preferably in a Site Superintendent position
  • The ability to read and understand drawings
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with internal and external parties
  • The ability to manage tasks/projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • A Class G license, and the ability to travel between sites and offices as necessary
