Strategic Talent Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Consulting team in Talent & Workforce Strategy. As a trusted advisor, you will integrate human capital considerations and expertise into clients' strategy, structure, systems, and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the proposal, planning, and delivery of consulting engagements with a focus on talent, workforce strategy, and people services in the private, public, not-for-profit, and Indigenous sectors.
- Provide strategic People Advisory Services focused on driving organizational transformation and future-proofing the workforce.
- Manage project planning and scheduling as well as project financials (budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition).
- Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met, and grow and develop long-term client relationships.
- Review, design, and develop high-quality deliverables, including reports, presentations, and other correspondence.
- Maintain high-quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address issues or key risks relevant to the client's business.
- Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities, and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs.
- Mentor, motivate, and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
- Contribute to strategic and operational planning related to client and practice management, as well as the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, organizational development, organizational psychology, behavioral sciences, or other related fields.
- CPHR, Prosci, CMC, PMP, or other related designations or certifications are considered an asset.
- 8+ years of consulting or human capital strategy experience, ideally in a consulting and client-service environment.
- Strong business and practice development skills.
- Demonstration of advanced project management skills and tactics.
- Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills.
- Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills.
