Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized Bookkeeper and Financial Administrator to join our team at Canada Inc.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees.
    • Accurately calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date records.
    • Maintain financial records, establish, and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
    • Post journal entries, accurately recording financial transactions.
    • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, providing valuable insights to management.
    • Prepare the trial balance of books, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with 35 hours per week. Public transportation is available in the area, making it easy to commute.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A College or CEGEP education.
  • At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. This position also includes benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.
