Supermarket Meat Cutter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supermarket Meat Cutter to join our team at APNA Farm Halal Meat and Grocery. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meat: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to prepare for processing or cutting. Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.
- Meat Handling and Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats, remove bones from meat, and weigh meats for sale.
- Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, cut poultry into parts, and price meat products.
- Equipment Operation: Operate band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, sausage machines, and slicing machines to prepare meat products.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
