Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Aljazeera Supermarket Inc. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Cut and trim meats to standard cuts
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Price meat products
- Sell meats to customers
- Supervise other butchers and meat cutters
- Grind meats
- Train meat cutters
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the meat cutting industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
This is a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week. The work environment is cold/refrigerated, and the work setting is in a supermarket and meat department.
Language and Work TermThe primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
