Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil District Energy Design Engineer to join our team at Associated Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience in district energy pipe design.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least 5 years of experience in relevant civil engineering positions.
  • Experience with district energy pipe design, feasibility studies, and detailed designs.
  • Strong specification writing and review skills.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a P.Eng. with EGBC.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D, and hydraulic modeling tools is an asset.
  • Ability to prepare thermal stress analysis for hot water piping systems and register piping systems with TSBC is an asset.

The salary range for this position is $85,280.00 to $135,200.00, commensurate with experience.
