About the Role

As a Civil District Energy Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative and sustainable energy solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for all aspects of the design process, from feasibility studies to detailed engineering drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of district energy systems, including piping layouts, heat exchangers, and control systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and specifications for projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and assess existing infrastructure.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in district energy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on district energy systems.
  • Proven ability to deliver feasibility studies and detailed design documents.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC.
