Job Summary:

Heroux-Devtek is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the assembly of mechanical and hydraulic components.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean mechanical and hydraulic parts using products as specified in submitted procedures.
  • Assemble parts using hydraulic or mechanical equipment.
  • Perform tests according to specified protocols.
  • Read and interpret drawings, instructions, procedures or standards.
  • Record required data and make necessary modifications to ensure results are achieved.
  • Prepare reports as required.
  • Carry out any other related tasks assigned by your immediate superior.

Qualifications:

  • DEP in Aerospace Structural Assembly, Aerospace Mechanical Assembly, Industrial Construction and Maintenance Mechanics, or Automotive Mechanics.
  • DEC in Aircraft Construction Techniques, Aircraft Maintenance Techniques, Automotive Mechanics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • AEC in Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechanical Design, Aeronautical Methods Officer, or Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Mastery of hydraulic principles and component assembly.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Successful completion of various skills assessment tests.
