Job Opportunity

NÖORD TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Test Development Department to assemble electronic components and design test fixtures with software interaction.
  • Participate in testing of prototype test equipment.
  • Perform maintenance on electronic devices.

Main Functions

  • Work with the Test Team to design and implement test procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Research and Development Team to develop new test equipment.
  • Work with manufacturers to assemble and install electronic products.
  • Install and test electronic systems.
  • Conduct tests on electronic test equipment and write detailed reports.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Design and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, technical notes, and instruction manuals.
  • Maintain electronic equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • Determine the necessary interventions on electronic equipment based on technical documentation.
  • Identify defects and faulty components.
  • Work with electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
  • Use electronic instrumentation and test equipment.
  • Familiarity with specific design software.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits and schematics.
  • Ability to read and create technical drawings.
  • Competence in designing analog and digital electronic materials.
  • Practical skills in soldering and wiring.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electronics Technology (DEC).
  • Intermediate level of French and English.

Asset

  • Proficiency in computer software and programming languages.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (ORCAD and Solidworks).
  • Ability to update technical reference libraries or databases.
  • Familiarity with PCB assembly and electronic component installation.
