Job Summary

The Supply Chain Planner will ensure that production build plans are optimized to achieve and exceed organizational objectives for customer service and inventory health, for a portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed supply and capacity plans in the mid to long-term horizon for assigned product categories, aligning with rough-cut capacity plans.
  • Identify and communicate potential supply issues impacting the business, conducting 'what-if' analysis for supply scenarios and capacity planning.
  • Participate in projects, innovations, M&A, and new product capacity planning.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Production Scheduling, to problem-solve and align on priorities and trade-off decisions.
  • Provide instruction to colleagues on inventory deployment and balancing inventory between locations to achieve fill rate and days of inventory objectives.
  • Maintain planning master data and address non-productive inventory in alignment with Inventory Quality Ratio objectives.
  • Drive timely actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Supply Plan.
  • Escalate and use good judgment to intervene as needed to achieve KPIs for fill rates and inventory.
  • Create inventory projection reports for distribution capacity planning and Finance visibility on plan versus forecasts and working capital requirements.
  • Develop inventory build strategies.
  • Work in a safe manner and demonstrate corporate values of We Dare, We Care, and We Deliver.

Requirements:

  • University degree with a specialty in Supply Chain, Computers, Data Analytics, or Engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant supply planning experience, preferably within an industrial manufacturing or CPG environment.
  • Strong analytical ability, good judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer focus with a drive for results.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ability to interpret large amounts of data.
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis using Power BI desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Adept at working in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with supply planning software desirable (especially SAP-IBP).
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
