We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Oakville. This role reports to our Director of Supply Chain Planning.

The ideal candidate will be a thought leader and problem solver who can optimize production build plans to achieve organization objectives for service to customers and inventory health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed supply and capacity plans in the mid to long term horizon for assigned product categories.
  • Identify and communicate potential supply issues impacting the business and conduct 'what-if' analysis for supply scenarios.
  • Participate in projects, innovations, M&A, and new products capacity planning.
  • Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to problem solve and align on priorities and trade-off decisions.
  • Provide instruction to colleagues for inventory deployment and balancing of inventory between locations.
  • Maintain planning master data and address non-productive inventory in alignment with Inventory Quality Ratio objectives.
  • Drive timely actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Supply Plan.
  • Escalate in a timely manner and use good judgement to intervene as needed to achieve KPIs for fill rates and inventory.
  • Create inventory projection reports for distribution capacity planning and Finance visibility on plan versus forecasts and working capital requirements.

Requirements:

  • University degree with a specialty in Supply Chain, Computers, Data Analytics, or Engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant supply planning experience, preferably within an industrial manufacturing or CPG environment.
  • Strong analytical ability, good judgement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer focus, with the drive for results.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to interpret large amounts of data; high attention to detail.
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis using Power BI desirable.
