Job Description

The Ontario Municipal Social Services Association seeks a highly skilled Data Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support in the development and maintenance of data tracking mechanisms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and preprocessing data for modeling
  • Reviewing quantitative data to identify risks
  • Developing data tracking mechanisms and performance tracking databases for visualization of trends
  • Monitoring trends and assessing statistical data to guide program planning and strategic activities

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary degree in Social Science, Health Science, Public Health, Human Service or Public/Business Administration or related discipline
  • University level credits related to research methods, statistical analysis and/or data collection required
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience with data analysis and performance measurement
