Position Overview

The Healthcare Integration Solutions Architect is responsible for analyzing workflows and integration opportunities across various user groups and care environments. This role involves proposing a cohesive implementation strategy and training that aligns with the objectives of our clients. The architect will focus on enhancing customer implementations by pinpointing critical areas and functions that span multiple user groups, thereby creating a unified solution that addresses all use cases. This approach aims to reduce the need for repeated dictionary and workflow adjustments, minimizing changes after the system goes live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a subject matter expert on diverse healthcare workflows to create integrated workflows, dictionary structures, and best practices tailored for clients.
  • Performing assessments to identify essential workflows that support client objectives and mitigate obstacles to successful implementation.
  • Collaborating with internal experts to assist clients in defining their organizational priorities, goals, and objectives.
  • Setting the strategic direction for our integrated products and their implementation.
  • Conducting training sessions and developing key dictionaries to support integrated workflows.
  • Engaging in high-level discussions with clients to identify critical decision areas and the implications of those decisions on builds and workflows across various settings.
  • Defining and documenting comprehensive, organization-wide architectural workflows and builds.
  • Conducting assessments, site visits, and client evaluations throughout the implementation journey.
  • Serving as a resource for functionality and system usage for Client Services and Product Development teams.
  • Maintaining a robust understanding of how third-party software integrates with our healthcare information systems.
  • Troubleshooting, researching, and assisting in resolving software-related issues.
  • Collaborating with the Development team to identify, prioritize, and define innovative solutions to workflow challenges.
  • Assisting the Implementation team in interpreting user feedback and providing insights for workflow design decisions based on that feedback.
  • Participating in stakeholder meetings, design reviews, and demonstrations to ensure our development needs are represented and to stay updated on the latest functionality changes.
  • Representing the team in escalated client discussions or participating in priority event discussions related to current or future functionalities.
  • Leading MEDITECH-sponsored initiatives and discussions, both internally and externally, regarding product needs and potential functionalities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within the United States and Canada.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Associate degree is preferred, along with 2-3 years of relevant work or military experience.
  • Experience with MEDITECH and/or in the healthcare or healthcare-adjacent sectors.
  • A strong understanding of hospital workflows across clinical, financial, or administrative departments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well-organized with thorough documentation capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proof of vaccination may be required when traveling to client sites unless an approved medical or religious exemption is provided.

This position is classified as hybrid, incorporating a mix of in-office and remote work as determined by management.
