Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Gestion Cejemar Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry and replace linens, clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, including portioning and wrapping food items, and operating manual and electrical appliances.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, receive and unpack supplies, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit, and operating equipment such as deep fryers and food dispensers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and/or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a client-focused and reliable attitude.
