Psychologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As a Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for adults with various mental health concerns.
  • Provide evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioral approaches, to individuals and groups.
  • Develop and evaluate mental health programs to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Consult with other mental health professionals and contribute to in-house training sessions and case discussions.
  • Contribute to program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university.
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (Adult: Clinical, Rehabilitation and/or Neuropsychology).
  • Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based treatments.
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and with third-party payers.
  • Experience with telehealth/virtual care methods.
