Food Service Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portion and wrap foods to order
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Take customers' orders and receive payments
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
- Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages
Work Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide excellent customer service. You will be standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet customer demands.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Will train
- Client focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
