Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED.
Job Summary:The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and package take-out food.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, as well as sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Inventory and Supply Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and keep records of the quantities of food used.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
