Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Designer to join our team at SVP Sports. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative websites that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

About the Role
  • The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • This is a permanent position with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate website-related code to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance.
  • Document technical requirements to ensure products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Write, modify, and test website-related code to ensure stability and security.
  • Prepare mock-ups and storyboards to visualize design concepts.
  • Develop and implement information systems business solutions that meet client needs.
  • Source, select, and organize information for inclusion in website design.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
  • Create and optimize content for websites using various graphics, database, animation, and other software.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Research and evaluate various interactive media software products.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls.
  • Perform usability testing to ensure websites meet user needs.
  • Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in web design and development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Reader, Salesforce, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mastery of front-end and back-end development frameworks.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Certifications in web development, cybersecurity, or related fields.
