Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at GoFer Liquor. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and cleaning the sales floor
  • Assist customers with self-checkout and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
