Job Title: Dealership Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at Go Auto. As a key member of our financial operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain balance and accuracy in our accounts and schedules.
  • Post vehicle deals, including new, used, wholesale, dealer trades, and fleet transactions.
  • Reconcile factory program money schedules to vehicle sales.
  • Post vehicle invoices into CDK and ensure all financial transactions are accounted for.
  • Calculate commissions to be paid accurately.
  • Maintain sales-related schedules to help our team track their progress and success.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements through the reconciliation of various accounts.
  • Support auditors in preparing fiscal year-end working papers.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an accountant, preferably with prior experience at a dealership.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to create detailed spreadsheets.
  • Efficiency in processing paperwork and contributing to the seamless operation of our finance department.
  • Professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to handle accounting files for various departments.
  • Flexibility to take on other duties as assigned by management.
