Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to play a pivotal role in our financial operations at Go Auto. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and balance of our financial data, ensuring that our financial statements are prepared and reconciled in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain financial records and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile financial transactions, including vehicle deals, factory program money, and invoicing.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of fiscal year-end working papers for auditors.
  • Provide financial support to the sales team, including commission calculations and sales-related schedules.
Requirements:
  • Experience in accounting, preferably in a dealership environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
