Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team at The Westin Resort & Spa Whistler. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets through strategic account management and business development.

About the Role
  • Promote and sell hotel rooms, meeting spaces, and other services to groups and individuals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to increase bookings and revenue
  • Work closely with conference services department to ensure maximum utilization of meeting space
  • Conduct site inspections, as required
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree and/or hotel management degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar sales capacity
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel for trade shows, sales calls, and conferences
