About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Artist to join our team at Cultus Lake Pub. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Order supplies and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Recruit and hire staff to support kitchen operations

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support newcomers and refugees through mentorship programs and diversity training
  • Offer cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
