Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Wililingdon Creek Village in Powell River, BC. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care, providing support to clients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the Registered Nurse to care for clients with unpredictable outcomes.
  • Perform the full scope of practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes.
  • Maintain and advance clinical competence pursuant to the standards of practice of BCCNM for Licensed Practical Nurses.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
