About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Digital Technology practice in Vancouver or Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that support our firm's objectives and client needs. The Senior Associate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and document user requirements; regularly evaluate the applications interaction flow, analyze the data, and propose improvement strategies to optimize existing applications, automation routines, and scripts to improve user experience.
  • Analyze the requirements and specifications of various projects and propose solutions.
  • Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes.
  • Write, debug, and test code for various automation routines, application features, and components.
  • Develop process automation tools using MS Power Apps.
  • Review programs and applications regularly and make any adjustments to keep them running well.
  • Integrate and deploy applications on different platforms and environments.
  • Document and maintain the code and the application architecture.
  • Collaborate with other developers, designers, testers, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and co-lead the team of other IT specialists whenever necessary.
  • Update and improve existing applications to enhance performance, security, and usability.
  • Research and learn new technologies and best practices to keep up with industry standards and trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Programmer or Software Developer, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
  • Experience with MS Power Automate and MS Power Apps will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement, with a passion for technology and innovation.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
