Long Haul Truck Driver

Tras BC Freight Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, working as part of a two-person team or convoy.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel for extended periods and overnight
As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a remote location, with various locations, and will be required to drive manual transmission vehicles.
