Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Tras BC Freight Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods and overnight
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often traveling long distances and working irregular hours. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a safe and efficient operation.
