Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Tras BC Freight Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, working independently or as part of a two-person team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel for extended periods and overnight
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a remote location, with various locations and routes. You will be required to drive manual transmission vehicles and handle heavy loads.
