About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Cari. As a key member of our Assurance group, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Lead the planning and execution of projects, including management of engagement economics and client deliverables.
  2. Business Development: Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients.
  3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical accounting guidance and support to clients, with a focus on complex accounting and process memorandums under IFRS, ASPE, and U.GAAP.
  4. Staff Development: Mentor and develop junior staff, focusing on technical knowledge, communication skills, leadership, and project management.
  5. Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, including review and delivery of client deliverables, and support for local office teams.

Requirements:

  1. Technical Accounting Skills: Possess strong technical accounting skills, including GAAP, control certification, securities and regulatory, assurance, and experience in and knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, U.GAAP, internal controls (CSOX/PCAOB), and risk.
  2. Transactions Experience: Working in a Transactions scenario, with expertise in M&A, divestitures, new financings, accounting, regulatory, and securities aspects.
  3. Financial Reporting Cycle: Expertise in financial reporting cycle elements, including financial process design, budgeting and planning, financial reporting, accounting close/consolidation, and business case development.
  4. Project Management: Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities, including project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, and team leadership.
