HVAC Technical Support Specialist

As a Technical Support Product Specialist, you'll provide remote technical support for Trane/American Standard Unitary Commercial equipment. You'll work with customers, technicians, and administrators to troubleshoot and resolve issues, utilizing your knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical theory, and refrigeration principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers remotely with equipment startup, operation, and diagnosis/troubleshooting
  • Use resources to determine root causes and best courses of action
  • Make decisions regarding company resource dispensation to resolve customer issues
  • Manage relationships with manufacturing site teams and field offices
  • Monitor and resolve technical support requests in a timely manner
  • Document work and create standard solutions for internal and external sharing
  • Coordinate with internal teams on quality escapes, design errors, and Service Alerts
  • Participate in New Product Introduction projects and review warranty claims

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in French and English
  • 10+ years of experience in servicing HVAC equipment and systems
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Professionally trained on various Trane equipment
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
