Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Dhabba on the Falls. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety standards, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
  • Operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize dishes, and maintain a clean and organized dishroom.
  • Restock supplies, including condiments, utensils, and paper products, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping food, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs and maintain a high level of productivity.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 32 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
