Job Title: Counter Attendant in Food Service

Job Summary: We are seeking a Counter Attendant in Food Service to join our team at Dhabba on the Falls. As a Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and inventory food and beverage supplies.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to stand for long periods.

Work Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Standing for extended periods: Stand for extended periods, including during peak hours and when working with heavy equipment.
  • Physical demands: Lift, carry, and move heavy objects, including food and equipment.

Security and Safety:

  • Criminal record check: Pass a criminal record check prior to hire.

Personal Suitability:

  • Client focus: Provide excellent customer service and focus on meeting customer needs.
  • Team player: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and objectives.

Work Language: English.

Work Term: Permanent.

Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
