About the Role

As a Psychologist with Lifemark, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse client groups, including Canadian Veterans and employees in organizations focused on workplace health. You will be responsible for developing new mental health program content, leveraging novel approaches to service delivery, and bringing your unique assessment competencies to a range of applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based mental health programs for various client groups
  • Leverage digital therapeutics and other innovative approaches to service delivery
  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide individual and group treatment for conditions such as anxiety, trauma, and depression
  • Consult with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to in-house training sessions and case discussions
  • Contribute to program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (Adult: Clinical, Rehabilitation, and/or Neuropsychology)
  • Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based treatments
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and with third-party payers
  • Experience utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods
