About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Diane Chicoine. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that stimulate mental and physical well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Punctuality, client focus, flexibility, initiative, and patience are essential qualities for this role.
Work Environment

As a Caregiver Assistant, you will work in the employer's/client's home, providing one-on-one support and care. This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week.
