About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Caregiver to join our team at Diane Chicoine. As a Family Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring clients receive the necessary care.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and well-being.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands, ensuring they have access to essential items.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a caregiving role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate client needs.
