About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Family Caregiver Assistant to join our team at WaSa - Private Household. As a Family Caregiver Assistant, you will provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry duties, ensuring a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account our clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and engage in activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Staff accommodation provided, with the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including urban areas and private homes.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required.
