Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a talented QA Analyst to join our team at Maya HTT, a leading developer of advanced modeling and simulation software for mechanical engineering. As a strategic development partner for Siemens PLM Software Inc., we author and market a variety of software products for heat transfer, fluid flow, and structural simulation, used by customers worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Test products (performance and quality) and ensure required quality standards are met prior to market release.
  • Design models and execute systematic product verification testing.
  • Write and execute quality assurance (QA) test plans.
  • Document test results and provide feedback to engineers and product development teams.
  • Participate and be proactive in scrum and QA meetings.
  • Design automated tests for progressive software testing.
  • Identify defects in the application and report them clearly using defect tracking systems.
  • Proactively contribute to improving QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD software, preferably NX.
  • Good grasp of mechanical concepts.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME or ISO drafting standards is an asset.
  • Experience with CAD drafting tools for manufactured components.
  • Good inter-personal skills, initiative, and ability to work in a scrum team.
  • Experience with QA and/or script writing is an asset.
