CS Group Canada is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the aerospace industry. As a Software Verification and Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of embedded software applications on aircraft and space systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to verify the correctness of design according to DO-178 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in engine control software.
  • Ensure traceability between all software design and test artifacts.
  • Conduct independent peer reviews on tests produced by other team members.
  • Draft final technical documents and provide clear status updates to management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 2-6 years of experience in software verification and quality assurance.
  • Experience with engine control software and DO-178 standards.
  • Proficiency in C language and scripting languages like Python.
  • Knowledge of SCADE, Matlab/Simulink, or equivalent, and testing tools Rational RTRT and/or LDRA.
  • Basic knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, ARINC, RS-422, Ethernet.
