Cloud and DevOps Lead Engineer Job Description

**About the Role**

Ziff Davis, a leading provider of marketing technology solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Cloud and DevOps Lead Engineer to join our International operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, designing, deploying, and maintaining our core application and voice stack in AWS.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services
  • Design and deploy scalable and highly available systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements
  • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 system availability
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
  • Provide expert-level support for Windows and Linux servers, AWS services, and workflows
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement database solutions using MySQL and MS SQL Server
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement

**Requirements**

  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and AWS services
  • Expert-level knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
  • Experience with Windows and Linux servers, networking, and WAF
  • Strong database skills, including MySQL and MS SQL Server
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

**What We Offer**
