About the Role

Raven Connected, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cloud/DevOps Developer to join our team in downtown Ottawa. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to support our video telematics platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services, enhance system scalability, and optimize performance.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect sensitive data stored and processed in the cloud environment.
  • Optimize cloud resources to improve performance, cost efficiency, and scalability of the platform.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions to mitigate issues.
  • Document technical specifications, architectural designs, and deployment procedures for cloud-based systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# for developing cloud-native applications.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI and Machine Learning.
