Compassionate Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Tideview Terrace.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position with a salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 60 to 80 hours bi-weekly in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
- Assist patients with their daily needs, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulating.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer first aid when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by making beds, cleaning rooms, and restocking supplies.
- Transport patients safely using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- College diploma or certificate in a related field.
- Continuing Care Assistant Certification.
- First Aid Certificate and CPR certification.
- Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
This role requires working in a nursing home/home for the aged setting in a rural area. You must be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
