Job Title: Truck and Trailer Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Technician to join our team at Maxim Truck and Trailer. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with commercial vehicles
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Discuss work with supervisor and complete reports to record problems and work performed

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
