We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Advisor to join our Risk Management Department at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. This role is perfect for individuals who have a strong background in data analysis and modeling, with a passion for risk management.

About the Job:

  • The Quantitative Advisor will be responsible for developing and maintaining our continuous model monitoring (CMM) framework, which assesses the performance of our models and ensures adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including model validators, developers, business stakeholders, IT, and auditors, to design and implement metrics for monitoring model performance.
  • The Quantitative Advisor will also be responsible for implementing metrics and reporting dashboards for monitoring the effectiveness of our Model Risk Management (MRM) framework.
  • In addition, this role requires drafting business requirements for metric implementation and detailed descriptions of metric calculation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the CMM framework to assess model performance and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement metrics for monitoring model performance, including production automation and reporting.
  • Implement metrics and reporting dashboards for monitoring MRM framework effectiveness.
  • Draft business requirements for metric implementation and detailed descriptions of metric calculation methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a quantitative field such as Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in model development, validation, or front-office quant roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Excellent knowledge of BI tools / Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with large datasets and quantitative analysis.
